NEW SALES POSITION: North America Sales Manager

Hydraulico is a hydraulic press company with headquarters in Denmark (Scandinavia) from where we ship our industrial solutions to the whole world, even if mainly Europe and North America. It has existed for more than 75 years, and it has been in a clear growth phase for the last 5 years.

The company is holding a rather strong brand within solutions for the household market, jet engines, rail turnouts, plate heat exchangers, and existing hydraulic press upgrades.

Two years ago, a new delegation in USA from where we employ our US based service technicians was created. Hydraulico is now looking into a new sales position, based in USA, to further penetrate the local USA market.

Job description: NORTH AMERICA SALES MANAGER

You will be supported from our headquarters where pressing solutions are designed, manufactured and assembled, and by the Export Sales Director (located in Europe) to whom you report and who will travel with you every now and then.

You have 5-15 years of experience in the sale of capital equipment for different industries, you are a US citizen, capable of understanding technical solutions, reading customer pains/needs, as well as developing good and durable relationships and generating customer trust.

You will be given plenty of autonomy to proof yourself over time. Success will involve building a robust pipeline while following company given guidelines. You will be selling:

  • turn-key hydraulic press-based production lines,
  • standalone hydraulic presses,
  • upgrades of existing hydraulic presses of any brand.

You will visit customers, mainly in USA, as well as working from home. The convenient tools will be provided by the company, including intermittent trainings in Europe during the first year. It is a full-time job with a fix salary and an attractive commissions package from a certain level of performance (total annual sales volume).

Previous experience in metal forming industry (metal sheet forming and forging) is of interest, as well as personal traits such as patience, politeness, ambition, methodology, and a high sense of responsibility and analysis. Being result oriented and a good negotiator with good communication skills is way more important than holding an engineering degree.

If you are interested in growing together with our organisation, do not hesitate to send your updated CV to ca@hydraulico.com.

Deadline: 30 November 2023
