Hydraulico is looking into a new position within the sales department, based in our headquarters (Odder, Denmark) to sustain the experienced growth through last 5 years.
You are expected to become a key member of the sales department, with potential access to the front line of sales in the future, if desired. Your main initial task is to support the sales department, and progressively facing an increase in scope and complexity. We offer a career. We need a person with technical understanding and a flexible mindset, so that it can become a strong hinge in between our technical department and our sales department. Specific tasks to carry out together with the team:
– Solution brainstorming & approval
– Obtaining quotes for subsystems from suppliers
– Elaboration of calculations
– Elaboration of quotes
– Elaboration of sales materials
You will be reporting and supervised by Chief Sales Officer – CSO (located in Europe). Support will be given by CSO and Chief Technical Officer – CTO (located in Denmark) and other resources under their umbrella when convenient. To carry out the previous functions, the expected skills are:
– Capacity to understand and learn technical solutions is a must.
- SolidWorks skills are valuable; ability to simulate FEM and to sketch solutions
- Ability to read hydraulic diagrams is valuable
- Experience with automated systems and turn-key solutions is valuable
– Minimum Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) are a must.
– Experience in technical case-by-case marketing is a must.
– High English level is a must (written and spoken).
You are an engineer; you have 5-10 years of experience in a similar position. You are attracted by custom made industrial equipment. You live within 45 minutes’ drive from Odder in Denmark and are available for daily office work, capable of coping with both, rough and precise approaches. You have a talent for team building, networking, and risk understanding. Other languages like Danish, German, French or Spanish are highly valuable.
