Over the past eight decades, our journey has taken us from 50–200 ton presses in the early decades to today’s expertise in advanced 1,000–10,000 ton solutions. But why?
Helping customers move into more demanding markets: Whether helping established customers stay ahead or enabling new customers to enter specialized markets, we focus on applications that require higher force, longer strokes, multiple forming axes, and the ability to form complex parts and exotic materials.
By providing these advanced press solutions, we help customers position themselves in highly specialized market segments. These are areas where exclusive capabilities, customization, and a fair investment level create a clear competitive advantage.
Different press structures for different production needs: Our strategy starts with flexibility and in-house know-how. The size and purpose of each press define many key technical choices, including the structure. Because we design and build presses while sourcing high-quality European steel structures, we can select the best-fit concept for each project.
1) Monoblock welded frame: suitable when logistics allow transport in one piece and designed and simulated for infinite life.
2) Tie-rod construction: a well-known solution that can offer great versatility when designed accordingly, for example, access from all four sides, fast tool changes, improved automation integration, and better process visibility.
3) Plate construction: a sandwich-type structure in which several main carrying plates are tied together by transverse rods. This can be an extremely cost-effective option for short-stroke applications with moderate off-center loads.

Designed for long-term: Our goal is to ensure that every solution gives our customers excellent manufacturing experience. That begins with a durable, life-lasting frame but it also includes process knowledge, advanced engineering, and the ability to support demanding projects from concept to operation.
For this reason, we continue to invest in our capabilities, facilities, and infrastructure. We can simulate forging processes, advise on the production concept, and support customers with more than just a machine. Furthermore, our facilities include an assembly hall, with more than 12 meters (40 feet) above floor level, foundations up to 3 meters (10 feet) deep, and several overhead cranes with lifting capacity up to 120 tons. This allows us to handle large presses with confidence.
Because: at Hydraulico, bigger challenges are where stronger solutions begin.
