General Purpose Presses

Hydraulic presses handle many functions and offer broad flexibility. We configure each press for generic tasks or for a specific process. With the right design a hydraulic press can run almost any forming process. However, some processes need special consideration.

Blanking

In most blanking jobs, understood in its largest version, it is important to minimize reverse tonnage. We add shock dampers that can be stand-alone removable units or integrated into a centralized hydraulic system for better oil temperature control. The press can also be equipped with spindles so the ram engages the damper before the die meets the material. These spindles can be adjustable, programmable and motorized, which gives consistent performance and fast changeover across different tool heights without spacer blocks.

Calibration and composites
For calibration in forging or forming in composites we can add a secondary hydraulic system that holds pressure for long periods with high precision and very low energy use. This dual system builds pressure quickly, maintains accuracy during the dwelling part of the cycle and avoids wasting energy.

Tailored by application
Every application is different, so we design the press case by case to fit your purpose.
